Elsewhere we define a degree apprenticeships as a level 6 or 7 apprenticeship with a mandatory degree component that is required for successful achievement of the apprenticeship
A vacancy is a unique opportunity to undertake an apprenticeship with an employer and the number of vacancies provides a count of apprenticeship vacancies published on FAA in a particular period
The number of vacancies could include some over-counting as it may be possible for a vacancy to have previously been advertised and some vacancies can be extended
The number of adverts does not provide a true measure of adverts for apprenticeships because many are not advertised through the Find An Apprenticeship website, therefore the measure represents a subset of the total number available across the marketplace as a whole
