The percentage of children registered to receive government-funded early years provision. The numerator is the number of children, the denominator is the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) estimate of eligible 2-year-olds or the Office for National Statistics (ONS) estimate of the population of 3-year-olds and/or 4-year-olds.&nbsp;

National time series of take-up amongst eligible two-year olds from 2015, and amongst three- and four-year-olds of the universal entitlement from 2011.&nbsp;

The proportion of children in government-funded early years provision by number of funded hours received.
