Footnotes

1. Age for starts is based on age at the start of the programme.
2. Apprenticeships of fewer than 12 months include those where prior attainment is taken into account hence the required amount of training is reduced.
3. Expected duration is based on learning start date and planned end date as recorded on the ILR. Re-starting learners who may have returned from a planned break are excluded. Learners transferring their apprenticeship to a new provider are also excluded.
4. Length of Employment is based on the First Day of Learning with the current employer as recorded in the ILR.
5. Where shown, figures for 2025/26 are provisional and cover the first quarter (Aug to Oct). Figures for other years are final and cover the full year (Aug to July).
