- Volumes are rounded to the nearest 10 and 'low' indicates a base value of fewer than 5. Where data shows 'x' this indicates data is unavailable, 'z' indicates data is not applicable, and 'c' indicates data is suppressed.
- Total starts are the count of apprenticeships started at any point during the stated academic period. Learners starting more than one Apprenticeship will appear more than once.
- Starts since May 2010 includes May 2010 to July 2010, and the full 2010/11 to 2022/23 academic years.
- Starts since May 2015 includes May 2015 to July 2015, and the full 2015/16 to 2022/23 academic years.
- Starts from the Isles of Scilly (E06000053) have been included in starts in Cornwall (E06000052).
- Geography is based upon the home postcode of the learner. Where the postcode is outside of England or not known it is included in the 'Outside of England and unknown' category.
- Geographies are taken from the National Statistics Postcode Lookup.
