- Figures may not always sum to totals exactly, due to rounding.
- The Department for Education or Randstad do not hold data on the location of tutoring for some pupil starts on tuition partner courses in 2021/22. No adjustment of school participation in the tuition partner pillar has been made to account for this.
- Estimates regarding school-led tuition and NTP participation in 2021/22 are based on the Educational Settings Status form survey. This survey is not completed by all schools. We assume that non-responding schools resemble responding schools and do not adjust for non-response bias.
- Not all schools were eligible for Academic Mentors in 2020/21. Not all schools are eligible for Academic Mentors or School Led Tutoring in 2021/22.
