  1. Figures may not always sum to totals exactly, due to rounding.
  2. The Department for Education or Randstad do not hold data on the location of tutoring for some pupil starts on tuition partner courses in 2021/22. No adjustment of school participation in the tuition partner pillar has been made to account for this.
  3. Estimates regarding school-led tuition and NTP participation in 2021/22 are based on the Educational Settings Status form survey. This survey is not completed by all schools. We assume that non-responding schools resemble responding schools and do not adjust for non-response bias.
  4. Not all schools were eligible for Academic Mentors in 2020/21. Not all schools are eligible for Academic Mentors or School Led Tutoring in 2021/22.
