Description

Comparison in earnings five years after graduation between cohorts in two tax years, 2015-16 and 2021-22 broken down by subject area studied. This is the underlying data for the "Comparison of earnings between tax years" section of the publication.

Coverage

Earnings of all UK domiciled first degree graduates from HE providers in Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales). Earnings information is provided for all graduates living in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) during the 2021-22 tax year five years after graduation in 2016.

  2. For the 2021-22 tax year, five years after graduation (5 YAG) refers to those who graduated in 2016, at the end of the 2015-16 academic year.
  3. Table 6 and Figure 6 each show proportions of providers with particular ranges of change in earnings between the two tax years. Table 6 additionally shows the numbers of providers from which the proportions are calculated.
