- Where Investment in Training figures for years preceding 2022 are presented, they may differ from those presented in earlier reports due to a change in the methodology used for calculating the labour cost up-weight. Please see Chapter 3 of the accompanying technical report for further detail.
- 2011 to 2022 training expenditure figures have been adjusted to reflect inflation, so that in effect they are presented in ‘2024 prices.’ The adjustments used were an uplift of 43.4% for 2011; 35.9% for 2013; 33.9% for 2015; 29.5% for 2017; 24.2% for 2019; and 10.0% for 2022.
