Footnotes

  1. If a child has more than one referral in a reporting year, then each referral is counted.
  2. Rates per 10,000 of the population of children aged under 18 years are calculated using Office for National Statistics (ONS) mid-year population estimates for children aged 0 to 17 years in England.
  3. A child can have more than one episode of need throughout the year, but episodes should not overlap.
