Footnotes
- Employers can record information about redundancies at a later date on the Apprenticeship service (AS), therefore the information can suffer from ‘data lag’ with information being recorded weeks or months after the redundancy actually happened. Figures for the most recent months will therefore likely be underreported.
- This data does not capture all apprenticeships, as prior to 01 April 2021 not all non-levy employers were using the apprenticeship service (AS). From 01 April 2021 all new starts are reported and managed through the AS
