Footnotes

  1. Employers can record information about redundancies at a later date on the Apprenticeship service (AS), therefore the information is provisional.
  2. This data does not capture all apprenticeships, as prior to 01 April 2021 not all non-levy employers were using the apprenticeship service (AS). From 01 April 2021 all new starts are reported and managed through the AS.
  3. The information can suffer from ‘data lag’ with information being recorded/amended many months after the redundancy actually happened. Figures covering the most recent two full months of data are not shown as they are typically over 25% under-reported.
