Footnotes

  1. Employers can record information about redundancies at a later date on the Apprenticeship service (AS), therefore the information is provisional.
  2. The information can suffer from ‘data lag’ with information being recorded/amended many months after the redundancy actually happened. Figures covering the most recent two full months of data are not shown as they are typically over 25% under-reported.
  3. This data does not capture all apprenticeships as prior to 01 April 2021 not all non-levy employers were using the apprenticeship service (AS). From 01 April 2021 all new starts are reported and managed through the AS.
