Where Investment in Training figures for previous years are presented in the 2022 report, they may differ from those presented in earlier reports due to a change in the methodology used for calculating the labour cost up-weight. Please see section 3 of the accompanying technical documentation for further detail.
  2. We have adjusted 2011 to 2019 training expenditure figures to reflect inflation, so that in effect they are presented in ‘2022 prices.’ The adjustments used were an uplift of 30.3% for 2011; 23.6% for 2013; 21.7% for 2015; 17.7% for 2017; and 12.9% for 2019.
