Footnotes

  1. For starts by pupils on academic mentor courses, we do not hold complete data. We have estimated the number of starts using the data we do hold
  2. Figures may not always sum to totals exactly, due to rounding.
  3. Estimates regarding school-led tuition and NTP participation in 2021/22 are based on the Educational Settings Status form survey. This survey is not completed by all schools. We assume that non-responding schools resemble responding schools and do not adjust for non-response bias.
  4. This figure is for course starts. Pupils may undertake more than one course.
  5. Not all schools were eligible for Academic Mentors in 2020/21. Not all schools are eligible for Academic Mentors or School Led Tutoring in 2021/22.
