Special guardianship order figures are split by:
- made to former foster carer, relative or friend
- made to former foster carer, other than relative or friend
- made to carer, other than former foster carer, relative or friend
- made to carer, other than former foster carer, other than relative or friend
For some local authorities, such as Kent or Croydon, the figures may be impacted by significant numbers of unaccompanied asylum seeking children.
